Transformational Tools for Healing Seven Generations

Ola Faye Thompson is a dynamic, bi-cultural young woman with contagious enthusiasm. Now working as a licensed Realtor, she has a diverse background in customer service, sales, graphic design, photography, printmaking, human resources, administration and fashion. Born in Colorado, Ms. Thompson graduated from the University of Colorado at Denver with a BFA in Photography and a Minor in Spanish Language. Before relocating to Austin, Texas, she traveled and lived throughout North, South and Central America, Europe, and the Caribbean. Ola enjoys spending time with friends, family and people who inspire her to create. She takes pleasure in making art, practicing yoga, learning new languages and being in nature.

For the past 35 years, Dr. Ruby Gibson has been dedicated to the craft and science of Historical Trauma Recovery, helping people all around the world to find remedies to personal and cultural suffering. She developed two intergenerational healing models - Somatic Archaeology© and Generational Brainspotting™ . Accessing our Body and Mother Earth as the sources of biological, emotional and ancestral wisdom, her researched tools and techniques impart knowledge and provide hope. An expert in her field, Dr. Ruby conveys difficult topics with tremendous effectiveness, beauty and simplicity. Dr. Ruby is the Executive Director of Freedom Lodge, which hosts the Black Hills Historical Trauma Research & Recovery Center. As a mother and grandmother, her life’s mission is to lighten the load for the next seven generations.
